As an Indian, I’ve did many types of Briyani in Indian versions. Few Briyani types are more tricky to get the perfect tasty rice at all time. More over, those are various upon their cooking methods and ingredients too. Since, I like to explore on foods, today I’ve cooked chicken Briyani rice in Thai version, which known as Khao Mok Gai. It is very popular rice dish which you can find at all the time in Bangkok,Thailand.  It is very tasty and aromatic dish ever that I’ve made before this. Those roasted and ground spices made this dish so aromatic and flavoured. The tendency of the chicken pieces were so perfectly done with special ingredients that I used in.Just few ingredients I’ve grinned instead of pounding, but it doesn’t change the taste at all.  Literally this was my first time of cooking for this dish. My Diary... On Diwali 2014

Its been over a month since my last post. November ..it was a really wonderful and crazy busy month too. Yes... I've been busy with cleaning house, baking cookies and making our famous traditional Indian savouries for Deepavali. After marriage, in these 8 years, this is the first time I've baked some cookies and savouries with my kids. It's was a great experience for me. Baking with my three little girls in my kitchen, makes those moments much more fun. Remembering when my girls snuck in bites of cookie dough while I'm busy with my oven, they loved raw dough.

This year of 2014 Festival of Lights, I made some delicious cookies where my husband and kids loved it. They enjoyed eating!!! Actually, I challenged myself to bake a different recipe of cookies everyday before ahead to Diwali. I made danish butter cookies, chocolate chip cookies, pineapple tarts, almond london cookies, peanut cookies, kuih bangkit, honeycomb cookies and muruku. I've brought some of my own baked cookies to my mom and in-laws family.

On this Diwali vacation, we went to my husband's native land Raub in Pahang. Every year of Diwali vacation we used to celebrate our Diwali celebration at my husband's native land. It's been a practice for my family traditional since I married. Busting crackers on Diwali eve made my kids real fun and enjoyed. The day began with oil bath, wore new clothes and not to forget about 'angpow':) ...sure it's a fun for kids to collect their angpows and saved into piggy bank:)
On weekend vacation to end our Diwali mood,we went for cinema with my whole families...together with parent-in-law,niece,nephew and cousins. It was so fun traveling all the way from Raub to KL to watch a movie ...'Katthi' my favourite actor Vijay acts,we were extremely enjoyed watching it with my favourite sneak caramel popcorn. It's an awesome moment to keep memorable in my diary.

My Diwali vacation spent my entire days in the kitchen with my in-laws on preparing breakfast, lunch and dinner. Although my days went busy with celebration and cooking, but I'am really had a happy moments with my kids and lovable husband. They made my life more meaningful and blessed to have such lovable family. I love my family:)....
