Khao mok gai chicken Briyani rice

As an Indian, I’ve did many types of Briyani in Indian versions. Few Briyani types are more tricky to get the perfect tasty rice at all time. More over, those are various upon their cooking methods and ingredients too. Since, I like to explore on foods, today I’ve cooked chicken Briyani rice in Thai version, which known as Khao Mok Gai. It is very popular rice dish which you can find at all the time in Bangkok,Thailand.  It is very tasty and aromatic dish ever that I’ve made before this. Those roasted and ground spices made this dish so aromatic and flavoured. The tendency of the chicken pieces were so perfectly done with special ingredients that I used in.Just few ingredients I’ve grinned instead of pounding, but it doesn’t change the taste at all.  Literally this was my first time of cooking for this dish. Strawberry Cheese Tarts



Last week I have made a batch of strawberry cheese tarts for my little nephew and mum's birthday that falls on successive day. These awesome and delicious tarts made as my all day favourite and kids too. They love it so much. 


Brie cheesy in middle really feels gorgeous melting into mouth. The Idea of Surprise strawberry jam filling was marvelous...I really enjoyed doing the design on the top. It's take time but I felt happy with the result. My little cute tarts really sweet and cheesy to eat with a cup of coffee instead of tea..ha ha ... A good combination ...am I right? ...better you try this at home with own baked tarts.
My kids loved it to eat just like that...yummy..yummy!


Well..let me share this marvelous tartlet...

Recipe
Strawberry cheese tart
Ingredients 
For Sweet pastry 
200gm butter
100gm icing sugar
Vanilla essence - 1/4 tsp
Egg - 1
Milk powder - 1 tbsp
Flour - 420gm

Preparation

1. Mix well with your hand to make a yellow ball.
2. I use mini tart mould to press approximately 30gm of my dough for each.
3. Cut off the excessive.
4. Preheat oven at 150c.
5. Use fork to poke on the bottom of shell. Actually It's to prevent from puff.
6. Throw into oven for 10minutes until very light brown .
7. Pop out from oven and leave it to chill.
8. While shell to chill,prepare cream cheese.

Cream cheese filling
Ingredients 
Cream cheese - 250gm
Sugar - 50gm
Butter - 25gm
Egg - 1
Whipping cream - 25gm
Flour - 20gm
Strawberry jam

Preparation
1. Whisk well cream cheese,sugar and butter until smooth .
2. Add in egg and whipping cream gradually.
3. Then,throw in flour and whisk for second until incorporate.
4. Once the shell is chill enough,drop in strawberry jam little on the bottom of shell.
5. Pipe cream cheese into shell just right on the jam filling . 
6. Then mix red color with little cream cheese in a bowl.
6. Use toothpick to drop the color mixture on top of the cream cheese filling. Make three drops and pull down from 1st to third drop.
7. Pop in to oven for 10minutes again until it rise.
