Khao mok gai chicken Briyani rice

As an Indian, I’ve did many types of Briyani in Indian versions. Few Briyani types are more tricky to get the perfect tasty rice at all time. More over, those are various upon their cooking methods and ingredients too. Since, I like to explore on foods, today I’ve cooked chicken Briyani rice in Thai version, which known as Khao Mok Gai. It is very popular rice dish which you can find at all the time in Bangkok,Thailand.  It is very tasty and aromatic dish ever that I’ve made before this. Those roasted and ground spices made this dish so aromatic and flavoured. The tendency of the chicken pieces were so perfectly done with special ingredients that I used in.Just few ingredients I’ve grinned instead of pounding, but it doesn’t change the taste at all.  Literally this was my first time of cooking for this dish. Polka dot Apam : Steam cupcakes


My cousin just threw the first year birthday party for her daughter. They have prepared with some variety of desserts on her candy party. There were cupcakes,cake pops,tarts and polka dot Apams.

 I was so amazed by little cutie polka dot Apam which blue in color and white dots on top. My cousin has chosen blue color concept on this party. Everywhere blues ....Talking about the polka dot Apam, it has a special creation into it. Yes, it has surprise filling with blueberry jam. So yummy! Although those in small size but it has given me a courage or persuade me to do my own steam Apam.
At home, I have made steam Apam in medium size of  cups with pink and blue. So cute to see those bump Apam in white dots on top. Not to forget my surprise filling for each pink with strawberry jam and blueberry jam for blue  Apams. So delicious!
Here you're my recipe ...


Steam cupcakes or polka dot Apam
Ingredients 
All purpose flour - 2 1/2 cups 
Caster sugar  -  1 cup
Eggs - 3 
Milk - 150ml
Baking powder - 3tsp 
Ovalette - 1tsp
Vanilla essence - 1tsp
Blueberry jam

Preparation
1. Whisk eggs,sugar and ovalette until pale.
2. Add in flour and baking powder,whisk in medium speed until incorporate.
3. Pour in milk and whisk well.
4. Prepare steamer.
5. Separate batter into two bowls.
6. Mix pink color into a bowl and white as no mixture of color.
7. Pour in 1/4 of pink batter into a cup and drop little jam in middle .
8. Pour in pink batter to fill up more.
9. Now the favourite part was fill some of white batter in piping bag and trim the nip off.
10. Drop few drops on the pink batter.
11. Steam those filled cups for approximately 10minutes.
