Basic French Toast

Today I have an easy and basic recipe for French Toast. My kids love it and it's ofcouse their favourite lunch box snack too. French toast or also called as 'Bombay Toast', always bring back my childhood memories. My mom always made us french toast to school.

I think the first thing that I ever learned how to do myself are french toast and scrambled eggs. My parents taught me to cook when I was 9. I can still remember my first time french toast,it was a disaster. Leaving some batch with burnt.   Since then, I have made some perfect toasts with close supervision. When I was 15 and I started my high school..my mom always assigned me to do lunch or dinner for family.
Now, I believe that teaching our kids to do themselves on a good recipe that has simple steps are very much important, with supervision, ofcourse. This, may encourage them to be more skillful in cooking world.

Today. I was so happy having my elder girl Anu to do French toast. She was so excited soon after I call her for help in my kitchen.  She did well with her French toasts by flipping very carefully from burning herself. I'm so proud of my girl for being good in her first time cooking.
